If you need to go out of town for a few days, why not let me give your dog the tender loving care it deserves while you are away?
If you have ever boarded your dog in a commercial kennel, you may have discovered upon your return home that your dog suddenly has changed ... clients have told me about their dogs becoming phobic about being in small areas, dogs becoming barkers, and dogs who have lost weight due to the stress of a high-activity, unfamilar environment.
I board a limited number of dogs in order to ensure each dog gets the individual attention it deserves.
Your dog(s) needs to be crate trained, up to date on vaccinations/immunity, flea free, worm free, and healthy.
What to pack for your dog's stay at Camp Dobe:
Food, treats, chewies, a bleachable blanket or bed, any medications needed during the stay, and if your dog may get homesick a used tshirt or towel in a Ziploc bag. Please leave bowls and toys at home!

Required: A pre-boarding visit by your dog is required before dropping your pet off for boarding. This is to ensure that your furry friend is familiar with the new surroundings it will be suddenly living in, as well as your peace of mind so that you know that your dog will be comfortable in a new home environment.
Every fifth boarding visit earns a 10% discount towards a future boarding!

Off-Season Boarding rates:
1st dog:$15.00 per calendar day
2nd and subsequent dogs $10.00 per calendar day.
High-Season Boarding rates:
(Memorial Day weekend, Christmas, Easter, etc.)
1st dog $20.00 per calendar day
2nd dog $15.00 per calendar day
3rd and subsequent dogs $10.00 per calendar day

* Pick-up fee to and from your home or veterinarian $20.00, Mobile area.+
* Veterinarian visit for your dog to get routine vaccinations etc. $20.00, Mobile area.+
* Flea treatment upon discovery of fleas $20.00 (Comfortis)
* Ear cleaning $5.00
* Nail clipping/grinding $5.00
* Brushing/de-shedding $5.00 to 15.00 depending on coat type

Included:
* Numerous off-leash romps every day on six-foot-fenced grass.
* Your dog will sleep safely in its crate or ex-pen in my dedicated dog room, den, or office.
* Lots of loving and one-on-one time with me.
* Manners while at my home such as not jumping on people
* Play time with other playful dogs.
* nap-time, of course with cookies!
* An occasional field trip to a pet store, the park, or a leashed walk is also a possibility for your dog!
No extra charge for:
* Handfeeding for dogs on NILIF/Say Please Programs.
* Stuffing your dog's Kongs and other food puzzle toys.
* Meal preparation for dogs on specialized diets such as BARF (raw diet) etc.
* Giving medications.
* Getting up at 2 am to let your dog out to potty!
